SUMMARY:Boukou Groove
DESCRIPTION:With the lively international release of their debut LP in 2012 “A lil’ Boukou in Your Cup” and the 2015 sophomore release “Let The Groove Ride” gives Boukou Groove the ability to maintain a dynamic tour schedule. The band provides audiences with a genre-bending collective\, touching on elements of New Orleans Funk\, R&B\, Soul and Blues. Founded on the stage at Tipitinas in NOLA in 2010\, Boukou Groove is the brainchild of singer/producer Donnie Sundal and New Orleans guitar luminary Derwin “Big D” Perkins. Sundal\, sharing stages and recording with the likes of Sam Bush\, Col.Bruce Hampton and Nigel Hall of Lettuce creates an infectious blend of energy and enthusiasm as he showcases his multi-octave ranging vocals while sustaining his brand of lavish Moog bass lines. Big D (Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentleman\, Bonnie Raitt and Dr.John) provides his smooth and funky guitar licks largely based on improvisation and feel alone. Together\, no matter what the venue\, the band provides their distinguishing style and creates a kinetic environment that’s easily spread throughout the audience.

It’s tons of fun so be sure to stop by.\nCosta Del Mar is hosting a beach party at the Baytowne Marina beach on Wednesday starting at 9:30pm. This event is free and open to the public. FULL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS\nThere will be lots of showboats at the marina from sponsors MarineMax/Grady-White\, Gulf Coast Yacht Group\, Galati Yacht Sales\, Legendary Marine\, Aquila and Grander Marine. If you’re looking to get into boating this is a great opportunity to check out the market. If you want to just look at some boats\, we’ll have a marina full of beauties made by some of the best boat builders in the world.\nThe vendors are back at the marina so you can browse through their fine selection of merchandise and services\, and of course we’ll be selling tournament merchandise.\nWe’ve posted the Parking Plan\, Social Links and Sandestin App on the website below. Hilton’s will be providing a weather update.\nCatchStat will be providing the live scoring again this year\, click on the links below so you can follow the action at the scales.
